slide recreation

This project has as main objective to develop a space that potentiates activities of recreation and health for all the age groups. The intervention area includes 8107.25m2 of forest space for maintenance / health circuit with fitness equipment, green areas, parking, bathrooms, playground, climbing tower, slide and infrastructures. The space presents a maintenance / health track with 500 linear meters divided into three levels of difficulty of training, which consist of increased running time: the first level features a 100-meter run with intervals of 25 meters (located in yellow) ; the second level presents a 200-meter run with 50-meter intervals (located by the white colour) and the last level shows a 400-meter run with a 100-meter range (located by the red colour). This track thus allows a progressive training, causing the participants to run 1km initially with stops until their elimination. This was measured with accuracy and presents itself as a closed circuit with a reduced slope guaranteeing accessibility to all types of people, with or without conditioned mobility. In addition to this slope of health track this also provides four bags with fitness equipment located next to the four bags of 25m. The equipment placed here is accompanied with informative panels of the types of exercises and body zones that exercise.

The climbing tower was created with four levels of difficulty.

The existing ruin was used for a playground with a house, a slide and a sandbox, making it possible for the little ones to play (from 3 to 8 years old). Associated with this space there is also a 30m long slide (for children from 6 to 14 years old), taking advantage of the slope of the terrain.

This project was designed to reuse the drained water and rainfall for irrigation by storing it in a reservoir. In thiss project we also  use solar energy for lighting.
