Salgueiral village (Fundão)
This project intended to develop the typical portuguese recreation farm with aromatic flowers, vegetable garden, orchard and a green meadow with a large extension power. The different sub-spaces allow different sensations and recreation, always with a minimal touch. The acoustic wall reduces noise to the farm. The birch trees develop shade for the main entrance. The meadow, the wooden beams and gravel create a pedestrian path through architecture corners. And on the terrace (next to the rooms) this project recreates some of this “recreation farm” with plants and water.
