Dances on the Water festival

1 to 5th August(,) 2012: Collaboration with the exploration, creation and development of a food stall with the exclusive use of recycled materials inspired by the Dances on the Water festival philosophy and the charismatic Andanças that took place in the banks of the Mondego river, the largest body of water born in Portuguese lands, in its elite near the village of Ratoeira in the Celorico da Beira municipality. Co-organized by the municipality and the PéDeXumbo association, the festival brought together traditional music, dancing and local culture within the beautiful water-side setting.
This festival tent was created with the idea of recycling plastic bottles. For five months a team of five people gathered and cataloged plastic bottles to produce this equipment. The equipment includes a space of 3x3m for food preparation and another space for terrace, with sofas and small tables, also made with plastic materials. the terrace roof recreates with the bottles the rivers keeper, symbol of this festival.
